Hello, when using ArcGIS for Power BI in desktop Power BI, I cannot choose basemap and configure other visual items which are off by default (e.g. feature infomation enable and zoom tools)
I have signed in with Micorsoft 365 and ArcGIS account which should enable me the actions mentioned above (https://doc.arcgis.com/en/microsoft-365/latest/get-started/accounts.htm).
What could be the reason? Thanks.

Thanks for your question! Could you please try to add Power BI data to the map to make sure the map is working properly? Thank you!
