Survey123 Report module - Quick Reference - only shows part of the xls sheet

Hi Survey123 Report Template folks,

I am working on a conditional report template for a Survey123 form. I have a template uploaded, and it works on occassion, not all the time and I don't know why. So I am trying everything I can to get it to work properly. I used the link in manage templates, Quick Reference. I have used this in the past, and I know that it will show the entire Survey123 form xls. When I clicked on Quick Reference today to check if I had syntax incorrect, it only shows me a part of my Survey form. I have never seen this before, so I think this isn't correct. What happens when Quick Capture only shows part of your form and not all of the xls? It seems that most of the parent questions are not there in the Quick Capture, just a few showed up. I do see the nested repeats in the Quick Capture. Does this mean there is a problem with my form schema? I am using Survey Connect to develop the forms, ver 3.21. The form is huge, a triple nested repeat. I am hoping to learn something about this today!  Thank you, Lisa

Hi Tyler,

Thanks for your response. Ok, I wasn't aware that Quick Reference doesn't show all the fields if they're not in the template. So I went back to my survey123 website and deleted ALL the templates. Refreshed the page, and then clicked on Quick Reference. It still only shows part of the parent fields.  Should I be worried?

I do have within the nested repeats a series of multi select choices. One of them is more than 40 items. I don't see a problem with this large multi select.

I have attached my conditional report template. I do appreciate any feed back!

In my experience if the fields aren't in the Report Template they won't show in the Quick Reference.  Try downloading a copy of the Report Template that is giving you issues and comparing it against the one you uploaded to make sure they match.  I've accidentally deleted stuff from word docs and not noticed it right away by accidently activating my trackpad when I was supposed to be using a mouse.

If you are trying to grab syntax for a checked box for a select one or select multiple and there's more than 5 (approximately) choices the Quick Reference doesn't include the rest, so you have to manually type them in.

Can you share screenshots and/or the report template so we can see what it is doing exactly?
