Good morning all.
This weekend I attempted to use Field Maps, paired with my phone and Bad Elf receiver, to collect data at an OS preserve that I’m working on:
- Points- worked as expected.
- Polygons- worked as expected.
- Polylines- Has a major issue:
- I was attempting to collect trails
- ESRI’s online instructions state that you turn on “Streaming”, walk and collect your trail, then “Stop Streaming” and “Submit”.
- When I did this, I got an error message stating that I needed two or more points to collect a point.
- I then selected a point, turned on streaming, walked the trail, selected another point, then ended streaming.
- The result was a straight line with a point at either end, not a trail with the expected numerous vertices.
The streaming option was definitely turned on in Field Maps, when I created the datasets.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
