ArcGIS Monitor 2024.1 - Issue registering ArcGIS Server Single-machine high-availability (active-active) deployment.

Hello Community,

I am facing an issue when registering Agents from 2 Windows 2022 VMs, where it is running ArcGIS Server 11.3, within ArcGIS Monitor 2024.1.

Agents are registered with no problem, and both ArcGIS Servers are identified by the ArcGIS Monitor as components. However, after the first node is registered under Discovered Components, when trying to register the second node it does not show any error message, but only 1 ArcGIS Server remains registered with 2 Agents.

It is strange because the sites are independent and have only the Output directory shared between the sites.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Hi,
Most likely the second site is being identified as a "duplicate". At 2024.1, this is done by evaluating an identifier added to the ArcGIS Server properties config. Please check both servers and see if they somehow match. If they do, the property can be removed from one of the Servers and re-registered with Monitor. See below reference in the documentation:
