Looking for work around for accessing dashboards from Category Gallery.

There is a bug in the Category Gallery app at 11.4 that does not allow you to open Dashboards from the gallery page. (Closed BUG 000173854)

Does anyone have any ideas on how to add and access dashboards from existing gallery pages?
