Field Maps not jiving right with basemaps

I noticed the ESRI basemaps are unavailable on our ArcGIS and was wondering why this was the case? When using field maps in particular, another coworker had mentioned that he was able to use the default basemap, but this isn't the case for everybody. This may be due to the fact that he uses a web map in Field Maps, but I personally like Mobile Map Packages, due to their ability to be downloaded and ease of use offline. Through some research, people either side-loaded personal aerials or use ESRI basemaps. If we could side-load our basemap that would be preferred, but using the ESRI basemaps would be okay for now.

I'm really trying to test the use of field maps for doing utility locating, and currently use parcel data for a rough outline, but it makes it rather difficult. In March Amazon is getting rid of their mobile app launcher for windows, so everything will be available only on mobile devices, so that's where I've been testing everything.

You will want to click the "Organization" tab on the top and then a "Settings" tab will show under that, as long as you are an Admin for the organization. Then look for the "Map and Scene" settings on the next page and the defaults I mentioned above. If you dont have access to this page, you should ask the organization admin to help you verify this.

Are you an admin for your organization? You can verify if any changes were made in the organization settings. Go to the Settings tab and select "Map and scene". Are you using Esri default for the basemap and group gallery?

Are you working in ArcGIS Online or Enterprise? The Esri basemaps should be available by default in AGOL and some extra steps are needed for Offline basemaps in Enterprise. Has your organization made any changes to the default basemap or the basemap gallery? If you have a screenshot or an error when you try to access these basemaps that would be helpful. Do they work fine in Map Viewer?
