Label leaders reset once Pro project is reopened. Elbow Leaders style from ArcMap

Hello esri Community,

My leader lines reset to a zero point when the project is saved/re-opened.  Imported an ArcMap style with elbow leaders (WHY is there no elbow leader template in Pro esri??  They look clean!).

Everytime I re-open, the anchor points are waaaaay the heck off on null-island or something!  Im tired of resetting them, I just want them to work.

esri or anyone know a good workaround to keep elbow leaders in Pro from flying away?

Thanks Jesse, I will start playing with the three-point leaders.  And I'm am still running 3.3 due to other bugs, will have to look into support

The leader style you like is also part of ArcGIS Pro - they're called "three point" leader style and it's part of the "Background" callout style.

This Add leader lines to labels in ArcGIS Pro how-to article shows the steps for adding these leader lines in ArcGIS Pro. The Text symbol properties documentation page describes all the callout properties available.

As for the leader lines resetting and moving to far-off locations when you open the map - that's not expected. Perhaps you're experiencing this bug that was fixed at version 3.3. If you're already at 3.3+, I'd suggest reaching out to tech support to help troubleshoot.
