Real-world problem: First responders are working on an Urban Search & Rescue team during a tornado or flooding event. To organize their search operations, they use a Web App Builder product called Intel Manager within SAR Common Operating Platform (SARCOP) to quickly create search segments (polygons) and make points for locations that need to be searched or already searched, etc. Many features are created during this process. They need to work as quick as possible to reduce loss of life. As teams are creating features, they also must answer identifying questions like their team’s name. This can be very time-consuming when creating hundreds of points.
While using the Web App Builder version of this product, Smart Editor offered "Use preset values" capability which reduced the user's time spent entering in their team's information during each edit (we are currently migrating this project from WAB to ExB).
Audience: First Responders, Urban Search & Rescue Team Members.
Technical Problem: Experience Builder does not offer Favorites or Presets (like in Web App Builder's Smart Editor) that would streamline the user’s experience by populating their team’s name.
Potential Solution: Offer a Favorite or Preset Values option similar to the method for Web App Builder's Smart Editor.
