City of Riverside California GIS DAY was a success with various departments sharing their GIS Successes!

Approximately 65-70 People were in attendance with various City Department stations showing their Maps, Dashboards, Web Applications, Story Maps and applied GIS solutions.

Departments included; Public Works- Street Engineering, Stormwater and Urban Forestry; Fire ,Police, CEDD- Planning and Economic Development; City Manager's Office of Sustainability, Public Utilities Electric. Outside presenters included West Coast Arborist, Drone Presentation by Mike Cohen from University of California, Riverside Botanic Garden, and Pitzer College Students from the Robert Redford Conservancy for Southern California Sustainability.
