Adding animated flowing arrows to visualise flow direction for polyline features.

Hello, just a silly and simple question. I can easily add static arrows to a polyline feature to indicate flow direction through pipes using an arrowhead marker layer, but I wish to also have an animation if at all possible to make it visually appealing during a presentation, and possibly even publish this to the Portal to be viewed in Experience Builder.

 

Is this at all possible using the default symbology, or is anyone able to share a method and symbology to apply that could give animated flow along a polyline.

Here’s some information about the default capability, which currently does not sound promising.

Here’s some information in an ESRI Youtube video about making an animation involving a line, but it sounds like it may not be very practical if you’re working with numerous line at the same time.

Here’s another answer that is probably the most promising (and technical) involving an API solution. This workflow is applied to displaying streamlines but could probably be applied to other polylines. Not default by any means but it’s an answer.
