Web Map properties or Web Map name as dynamic content in Experience

Question

When I make updates to my apps, it could be to the app itself, to the layers, or to the web map. It should be standard procedure for most people to then update the version number on the layer, web map or app, (such as v5.1.6, etc.)

I would like to add some dynamic content in text form to update the information note on which Web Map is being referenced in the Experience app. How can I do this? This information could be in the web map name (Dolphin web map v5.1.6) or in the description, or wherever works.

Whenever I make updates to the web map (and version number), it would be ideal if I didn't have to also get a production change approval just to redeploy my Experience app to update the text widget manually with the web map's updated version number.

So it seems like the main issue is that Dynamic Content seems to always be focused on the features. In other words, the SQL where clause is ALWAYS 'ObjectID = whatever', and that is the driver for the dynamic content. How can I change this where clause to be something else other than ObjectID so that the widget can pull attributes not associated with a feature?

Ok, so I created standalone tables to contain my ExperienceApps to Webmaps relationships.

In these standalone tables in a FGDB i will have for example, that app abc contains web map 1. Example:

Table name: AppTbl

AppNameAppDescWebMapNameWebMapVersionabcnote115.0xyznote223.0defnote315.0wwdnote441.0

In order to dynamically display my web map name and version, I'm trying to set up dynamic content in a text widget that would be something like the following SQL statement,

select WebMapName, WebMapVersion from AppDetails where AppName = "xyz"

But I'm kinda confused as to how to make this happen. Dynamic content seems to only allow for selected features? But there are no features to select as these are all standalone tables, and they arent features besides. they're properties of the app or web maps.

Forgive me for my SQL is a bit fuzzy, but technically because now this is a many to many relationship (unlike WAB), I'd really be doing something like:

with newView as (select AppTbl.AppName, WebMapTbl.WebMapName, WebMapTbl.WebMapVersion from AppTbl inner join LinkTbl on AppTbl.AppName = LinkTbl.AppName inner join WebMapTbl on LinkTbl.WebMapName = WebMapTbl.WebMapName),

select * from newView where newView.AppName = "xyz"

but how can i put the results of this SQL query into the text widget?

Update: I simplified the issue by generating a View in the SDE. So we can assume the View/Table now just contains a few columns, disregarding all the joins.

View: AppView

AppNameWebMapNameWebMapVersionabc15.0xyz23.0def15.0wwd41.0

So how can I make a text widget always display the result of

select WebMapVersion from AppView where AppName = 'xyz'

regardless of what is selected or unselected in the map?
