Currently geometry guides are only available to users in ArcGIS Online Map Viewer, ArcGIS Online Web Editor and the Edit Widget in ArcGIS Online Experience Builder. This is a very powerful tool for users with respect to data editing. Having this capability in field maps would empower users greatly, this is especially true for line/polygon manual data collection in the field.
Is this something that is planned in the near future?

not being able to draw a true rectangle will likely be a deal breaker for a field maps concrete repair application.
