ArcGIS Pro Extremely Slow in 2024

Question

I haven't seen any updates since 2021, but is anyone having issues with ArcGIS Pro being slow? I have done many checks and my PC is up to spec and performs well with everything else, but PRO takes like 5-10 minutes just to open the manage tab to register something as versioned or open a simple geoprocessing tool. I used to get away with killing locks and running other admin tasks in ArcCatalog, but with UN and attribute rules, I need to start doing these things in Pro, but it is just not doable.

This is definitely not expected behavior.  My ArcGIS Pro 3.3 is zippy fast so no issues.  In addition to the Can your computer run ArcGIS Pro link listed above, here is another reference to consider.  Furthermore, one can always do a soft reset of ArcGIS Pro as well.

What version of ArcGIS Pro are you working with? Have you run the "Can your computer run ArcGIS Pro" test on your machine?
