ArcGIS Pro 2 crashing opening 1.4 project

Hello --

So far I've tried to open two projects created using ArcGIS Pro 1.4 in ArcGIS Pro 2.0, and each time the application has crashed upon opening. I have been able to create a new blank project, but I obviously need to be able to open the existing projects. Thoughts?

Have you tried a 'repair' through windows add/remove programs?

When 2.0 was installed, were any other changes made?

Does the program work with a different user profile etc.

Thanks for the advice — I'm going to try the first two. Our IT folk did the install late Friday while I was working remotely, so it was hard to get much done befoer the end of the workday.
