how to highlight objects contained in a container

Hi,

I’m using a custom UN where a structure junction works like a container and holds different devices within (as its content).

Between the structure junction and the devices, there are containment associations. Is there a way to see the objects contained in a container on the map, similar to how the junction-junction or structure-junction association is shown when I press the "view association" button (a dotted line appears)?

I known that I can use DisplayFilter to show/hide content but I can't show which contained objects belong to a container if I have more than one nearby.

It looks like the rest end point(https://developers.arcgis.com/rest/services-reference/enterprise/synthesizeassociationgeometries-utility-network-server/) supports containment, but there is no option on the Pro dialog to show them. I would suggest logging an enhancement to support showing the containment

Hi,

not even the trace with the "synthesize geometry" create the container-content line segment.

@gpgisandsky - Like Mike said, there is no way to see containment associations.

You could try using the trace tool to synthesize geometry.
It works well for connectivity associations. I am unsure if this will return the container associations but worth a try. I understand it might not be a "one-click solution".

Yes, it should be considered as an enhancement in ArcGIS Pro (in the options for viewing associations), because it’s extremely useful information but currently missing. How can I call the "Synthesize Association Geometries" command in ArcGIS Pro?
