With the Date Selector, why is Advanced option not available with Header Panel?

I am using Operations Dashboard in ArcGIS Enterprise 10.6.1.  When I add the a Date Selector to a Left Panel, I see three Selector Option Types:  1) Defined Options; 2) Date Picker; and 3) Advanced.  When I add a Date Selector to the Header Panel, the Advanced option is not provided.

Why is the Advanced option not available with the Date Selector with the Header Panel?

Note:

The amount of vertical space selectors occupy on a panel can differ depending on how they are configured. Some selector configurations are not possible on the header because it has a fixed height. If you can't configure a selector a particular way on a dashboard's header, try adding the selector to the left panel or choosing a different selector configuration.
