Looking to convert points, either from a shpfile or table, to LAS within ArcPro. Found tools that go the other way.
There's no direct method in ArcGIS Pro for this.
If you've got X,y,z values in your shapefile you might be able to take a workflow exporting the data to a table, converting to ASCII, then converting to LAS. Steps might involve third party tools like PDAL, LASTools, Fusion. Not a path I or most people seem to have gone down.
