ArcGIS Pro 3.1.5: What do the green and red points indicate when applying georeferencing?

For example, in the screenshot below, point #4 is georeferenced to the target coordinates. Zooming in reveals two points: one red and one green. What do they indicate?

This is still not clear.

What do you mean by “From” “TO” Locations? What does this mean in terms of the Source and Map coordinates shown in the second screenshot?

Why the green points appears only after adding the fourth point?

How the Pro determines the location of the green points?

The red and green markers represent From and To locations when you georeference a raster layer to a referenced layer.
