Missing Web Scene in ESRI Course

Question

Hi team,

There's an issue with the ESRI course "Getting Started with Mapping and Visualization."

Problem: In the "Map and visualize data using ArcGIS information product" exercise, step 4 ("Explore a 3D web scene"), the required map "Explore A Web Scene by EsriTrainingSvc" is not available on ESRI's platform.

I can't contact ESRI directly to inquire if the map location has changed or has been renamed. Students need this for lab work.

Hi Hilary, the best course of action is to report the issue inside the course (from the exercise page) using the Help link in  the top-right navigation. This will create an issue that our team will investigate and address.

Hello Hilary, thank you so much for reporting this issue. We currently have an active work order open to recreate the web scene you mentioned, get the item hosted on the Esri Training Services ArcGIS Online organization and shared publicly, and adjust and republish the course content.
