Hyperlink to folder with period in file path name

Question

I am making a map with a link to a local file. The final file name is a series of numbers (ex: 1234.5). I have no control over these and cannot change them. But ArcPro won't link to the file if it has a period in the name. Is there a solution that would allow me to open a hyperlink to these files?

Never mind -  I was able to figure it out.

It's a deceptively simple solution of putting a final slash at the end of the link
