Set Time Slider Widget to Start at Specific Date

Question

I'm using the time slider widget in experience builder with data set at 1 year intervals. The data starts in 2014 and continues to 2031. I'm wondering if anyone knows a way to setup the widget so that when the map loads it will start at the current year or a preset date (i.e 2024) instead of starting at the first date in 2014.

I am currently facing the same issue. I've tried everything to fix it, nothing seems to work. I would greatly appreciate anyone who could shed some light on the topic

Update - I have changed my time slider settings in experience builder to "synchronize with the time settings in the web map" and have updated the time slider settings within the Web Map to "Play from position saved within the map". However, when I load up my experience it flashes the 2024 symbology but then still reverts back to 2014. When I reopen my Web Map the time slider settings also reverted back to the first year (2014).
