Extract polygons that overlay with a circle

Hi All

I overlaid a grid circle (shapefile) on an administrative area shapefile. 

I want to extract all polygons fully or partly overlaid with this circle (i want to retain all polygons that are in the margin of the circle if a small part of the polygon comes inside the circle).

I would be grateful if somebody could suggest a tool that I can use for this, please.

didn't work?  use the circle to select the polygon layer with Intersect most likely
