Arcade expressions in a custom print widget

I have a web application created in WAB and it will be recreated using the EXB Developer Edition. The application contains a custom print widget and the widget prints popups as reports. Reports are attached to the main map. So the first page is the map itself and the 2nd, 3rd, etc. pages are the reports showing attributes for the selected features on the web map. 

The question is that the popups are not attributes from the selected layer, instead, they're attributes from multiple intersected layers. I'm not sure if the ArcGIS Pro report template is "smart" enough to understand what needs to be printed. 

Any suggestions on the workflow to print popups as reports?

I was just looking at Print Layouts and wondering a similar thing.  I noticed that legend for example pulls in a number of layers that are available in the Map, but if the layers I need are not distributed inside the map, they did not appear, which makes me wonder how that impacts delivery of print solutions also.
