When I use the raster to polygon tool the shape area of each of my landcover types does not display the correct area value in my attribute table. The polygons are correct and where they should be but the area measurements are completely off.
what is the coordinate system of the data?
what is an example of a current value and what are you seeing?
did you use the define projection tool instead of the project tool if you wanted a different coordinate system?
any useful information would help
