How to allow user to add layer then edit layer within an Experience

Question

On the user end, is there a way that you can add a layer using the Add widget, then edit / delete that layer using the Edit widget?

I am able to add the new layer to the table and edit the attributes, but I would also like to be able create a new feature if possible.

I think the answer here is that it's not currently possible, but it will be an option in the next ArcGIS Online update that is coming this month.
