With flexible templates for offline work, projects can be started in the office and transferred to a device or downloaded directly over the network to the device and changes synchronized while continuing to work in parallel. Thanks to a compact and fully functional mobile geodatabase on the device, native apps have seamless access to geoinformation and many expected features such as Utility Network. You can easily capture locations with a high-precision GPS receiver or use interactive map tools with snap functionality for highly accurate capture.<\/P>Smartforms for Optimized Data Collection<\/STRONG><\/P>Smartforms offer an optimized data collection experience by dynamically adapting to inputs. It was demonstrated how to create an app with the ArcGIS Maps SDK for Kotlin that shows a map with wind turbine data around the Palm Springs area. As a maintenance technician for wind turbines, an inspection was carried out using a form that already contained some form elements for capturing attribute data. The attribute data was logically grouped and filled based on the user's login data. Then the form prompted to scan the nearest turbine to collect some information. The device's NFC sensor was used to scan the turbine. Once the sensor information was received, the turbine ID and other dependent fields were automatically filled.<\/P>
<\/span><\/P> <\/DIV>Integration of Real-Time Feeds to Enhance Collaboration<\/STRONG><\/P>A great example was shown of how custom real-time feeds can be used to improve collaboration and awareness in field service. The mobile app captures real-time information via a UDP peer-to-peer feed protocol. It was demonstrated how easy it is to integrate custom real-time feeds into a mobile app and how to update symbology to adapt it to the context of the data.<\/P>
<\/span><\/P>Announcement of a New Maps SDK for Flutter<\/STRONG><\/P>At the end of the presentation, it was announced that a new ArcGIS Maps SDK for Flutter will be released soon. Flutter is gaining popularity for cross-platform mobile development. It has a strong developer community and is packed with features that we will lovingly offer. It is based on the modern programming language Dart and offers a range of cross-platform widgets to quickly implement mobile apps. It provides a first-class tooling environment where developers can seamlessly create and iteratively improve their app designs.<\/P>
