Series graph with various types in Pro

In ArcGIS Pro you cannot combine a Profile Graph and Scatter Plot Graph into the same Series. You can implement a Series with a Scatter Plot, however the additional Series can only be Scatter Plots and can only be sourced from the same layer the initial Graph was generated from. Is functionality is severely reduced relative to ArcMap, where you can implement a Series with multiple different Graph types, sourced from multiple different layers.

Could you please describe your specific use-case for wanting to combine a profile graph and a scatter plot? This will help us understand the problem better and allow us to potentially brainstorm alternatives that are currently viable with Pro.

Hey Chris! So we have been able to adopt one of our traditionally CAD deliverables called a Plan & Profile exhibit into a GIS exhibit in ArcMap. Part of this includes a profile of the pipeline showing appurtenances along the line, such as test breaks, taps, main line valves, etc. We use the linear referencing tools to locate the points along the route (second snip), then use that table output to drop them in on the correct location on the graph. I circled all those types of points in the first snip. In ArcMap we can add multiple types of graphing methods (line & scatter plot) to the same graph but we don't have that functionality in Pro yet. We are trying to fully make the transition to Pro but this deliverable which is critical to our clients is holding us back.
