I have a table in my map document and when I adjust the resizing handles to make the table bigger, the handles spread out but the table doesn't resize. Which setting allows you to resize the table?
The handles only control the available space, not the used space.
If you open the Element pane (right click the table and go to Properties), there should be settings for row height and things like that. That's really what you want to be tinkering with.
