Overlapping Polygon Query

Question

Hi all,

I'm trying to create a new layer from two polygon layers, however I'm a bit stuck with what to do. I am trying to produce a new layer that takes the size and shape of the pink polygons, but only when a red polygon is within it/intersects it. This is due to the fact that the pink layer has a more accurate shape, however also incoporates features that I do not want to include.
