hello. I have a chart widget that has on the x axis, years, while on the y axis the number of people. I want my chart widget to have different colors according to the field "country" of my database. I want it to look like the picture attached. Instead at the moment all columns are the same color.
Following are firther details of my chart:Data: csv feature hosted fileChart type: Bar chartData: by groupCategory field: year (numbers)Statistics: countSort by: categorymaximum categories: /SeriesStacking: stackedetc.Where can I select the other field to categorize my data? thank you
I just got stuck on this and gave up. I don't think it is possible. See here where people are requesting it, https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-experience-builder-ideas/allow-bar-chart-custom-color-by-value-in-a-field/idi-p/1159146/jump-to/first-unread-message
You can do it in Map Viewer. In fact it picks up the symbology from the map automatically. However I haven't seen any way to use the Map Viewer charts.
In dashboards, you can create custom color schemes.
Hi @FrancescoCotana ,
Unfortunately custom color schema for single column has not yet been supported. Now you can only customize color for each series. You can try the new "Split by field" option to split the categories to multiple series and define a color for each series.
