Web Map to Instant App with Layers and Sub Layers

Question

Hi, I'm very new to ArcGIS Online, I recently made some maps- simple Web Maps with layers (sketch layers and some imported KMLs) and sub layers . I want to make an instant app to be used from Viewer log in but I have no idea how to do this. I've opened my map in Map Viewer - Create App -Instant App but then whichever App I pick e.g Atlas, Basic, Countdown, Exhibit etc my layers don't come over ?

If anyone can help I'd greatly appreciate it!

Hi,, Thanks for replying to me, I ended up using the Sidebar app and it works, I can't make my map public unfortunately, Thanks

Is your web map public? If so can you share it so we can take a look?
