ArcGIS 10.8 Join Table Issue

Question

I have been facing few problems in using ArcGIS 10.8 version. My problem with joining table. When I tried to join a field from a table namely "geocode" but didn't save it and found blank values, so, I tried to correct the excel workbook and tried to connect again using the join in ArcGIS. But, it doesn't show the geocode joining again. It takes other field/column to join but no more geocode. Why is this? And how to solve this problem?

Hello,

Im not sure why you're checking off "show the attribute tables of layers in this list".  You can check this off if you load the excel file into your table of contents.  Once you do this, you should be able to do your join.
