Dynamic Rotation of Composite Symbol

Question

Dear All,

I hope you are doing well when reading this message,

I would like to know, is it possible make the rotation of the Composite symbol in the Callout section of the Labeling dynamic.

There is a possibility to put a static value for the rotation but I need the Composite symbol rotation is dynamic.

Please check the attachments to figure out better.

Thank you for your fast response,

But I am not talking about the Symbol of the feature layer, I am talking about the symbol in the Composite section in the labeling.

Please check the attached images in my post.

Hi Amir,

In ArcGIS Pro, you can add rotation of a symbol dynamic based on an attribute value like you mentioned. One method of doing this is by using Arcade (mentioned here).

The following blog article outlines how, in ArcGIS Online, creating rotation in part of a composite symbol is possible using Arcade. This same method could also work in Pro - would be curious to hear how that goes.
