Will logging out of Field Maps when data has not been synced caused the data to be lost?

I'm helping to create a demo for GIS Day, and for our troubleshooting page, and one of the suggestions if syncing fails, to log out and log back in. But I don't want this to be a suggestion if it will cause any data loss.

I don't believe so but this is something you can readily test if you're concerned about it.

Unless offline capability is an explicit requirement, you could also not demo it, and just work live.
