It would be great if we could create dynamic density grid layers from points, like this:
iNaturalist - Poison Ivy - Filtered to show Ontario only
I'm not sure what the proper name for that kind of layer is.

Would this functionality also be implemented in Portal?
Currently binning is static so the aggregation boundary does not change as you zoom in or out. We do not expose a scale threshold yet in the Map Viewer but we do have plans on bringing that in next year.
