New laptop question

Ordering new laptops - choice of an I7 quad core processor at 2.90 GHz vs 3.1 GHz and 16 GB vs 32 GB memory.

Would you choose the faster processor or the added memory? Budget only allows one.

I agree with Dan, especially if the laptop has spinning disks instead of SSD.
