How to Change/Import Symbology for Labels?

Hey Esri Community, I was hoping that I could import/create label symbology that I can use for a line point feature class. The label symbology options that are currently available from esri aren't enough for the map I'm trying to produce. I'm looking for something outside of the screenshot below.

Label symbols like this are currently not supported at the API level which means Map Viewer and other apps will not be able to display them. To achieve a text symbol using the highway symbols for example you would have to use them in the layer symbol styling and set a text symbol on a marker symbol layer and link it to the field to display the value you want.
