I am trying to perform spatial analysis with two layers to determine the number of locations within a certain distance of another set of locations, but keep receiving a blank 'ERROR' message. Any ideas?

Would it be possible to see what tool you are using and how you have configured the variables for this? If you can provide your data I am happy to give this a test on our environment.
