Tracking or Breadcrumbs?

I have users who want to be able to see where they have been in Field Maps. This would entail having them be able to see a "trail" like a dashed line in the app that shows where they have been walking or driving; this is not a new data collection of a line, but more like a tracking function. Can Field Maps do this?
