Is there a way to Batch add Multidimensional Raster layers

I have 1000+ multidimensional raster layers that I would like to add. I need to extract one variable from each. Is there a way to batch add them? For instance is there a Python Script that could be used to add go through every file in the folder and add the variable from each layer?
