New feature updates to StoryMaps not available

It doesn't seem like new feature updates to Story Maps online are available for use within my organization.  For example, the following updates are not available to use:

- 2019 update to be able to pin the map legend open (not able to pin at all)

- 2021 update to allow for more than one image side by side (can only insert one image)

- 2022 update to font options such as superscript and subscript (not visible)

I am a publisher, not an administrator. Does our organization's GIS administrator need to manually update Storymaps to be able to use new features when they are released? What else could cause this? Any ideas?

You should be able to see these updates in your ArcGIS Storymaps, regardless of whether or not you are an administrator.

Can you confirm you are a part of an ArcGIS Online organization, and not using an ArcGIS Enterprise deployment? If your team is using ArcGIS Enterprise, you would not see all features at your version that you would see in the general ArcGIS StoryMaps release notes. For example, adding an Image gallery was only added to ArcGIS Enterprise 10.9.1 and later.
