Custom widget from user

Question

Hi,

We have a webpage where the map is loading. As a user I want to upload a custom widget into the map. Any idea how to proceed on it?

Thanks for the response. But we are not uploading the widget into any running application. We first need to upload the widget to the application and then run it. Basically we have a different page where we configure the app and a different url which run based on the configs available .

As a user you cannot upload custom widget to a running application. As a developer you can create your own application where you load your webmap and as many custom widgets you wish. You can use Experience Builder, developer's version, Experience Builder on Enterprise Portal v. 11 or higher or simply use Calcite + ArcGIS Javascript API. Stay away from Web AppBuilder since it will be phased out soon.
