Need to record seconds in time field

I have a form I am designing that requires seconds to be recorded when time is taken. I haven't found any information on this yet but seems like it should be basic functionality.

Has anyone encountered this and has a solution?

Thanks for the reply again.

For some background and context. The part of my proforma that is recording bat flight paths is a repeating section that needs to be inputted fast as the surveyor may see multiple bats in quick concession. The species of the bat is recorded by a bat detector that is running and recording simultaneously to filling in the proforma. The data can be reviewed post survey and unless I can accurately and efficiently record the seconds it will be difficult for the quality assurance team to cross reference the proforma  records to the recording.

I hope this sheds some light on the problem I am trying to solve.

Thanks for your question. This is not something that has come up much in the past, so we haven't paid attention to it. May be you can describe the use case in some detail? I am interested to learn about it.

The time control does not currently allow you to enter seconds. As a workaround, you could use an additional integer question. I guess it is not ideal, but can't think of a better way to do it.
