Alternatives to Esri's Experience Builder?

I have been using Esri's Experience Builder to develop a GIS platform for my company. I use it because I'm not an expert Javascript developer, which seems like you need to be to do enhancements in EB or to develop your own Javascript/Typescript-based GIS platforms. Its essentially WYSIWYG.

Unfortunately, EB is garbage, to be blunt. It is awfully buggy, poorly documented, and produces unexpected behavior. I am wondering if there are alternatives to EB that would help with developing web applications which interface with my web map in ArcGIS Online? Thanks!

Here's my "experience"...

I would also like to see an alternative to Experience Builder. I wasted a significant amount of my valuable time building an orthophotography map in ArcGIS Pro to run on a mobile device using Experience Builder. The Experience Builder web app crashed the first time I opened it on my iPhone 15 MAX, and then crashed repeatedly. Tested it on a Samsung tablet. Same results, crashes as soon as I start navigating the app on the device. Tested several other mobile devices, same result. Crashes. The orthoimagery map runs fine in ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online Web Map Viewer, QGIS, Global Mapper, Google Web Map, etc, but Experience Builder totally sh*ts the bed trying to run it on a mobile device. Pardon my froggy French, but it was incredibly frustrating knowing I had to start over and go find an alternative application to get this job done.

I submitted a ticket with Esri support and found out that it's a know issue/defect in Experience Builder, where the Experience Builder web app crashes on mobile devices when trying to render so-called "heavy" raster imagery. The total size of the orthoimagery raster mosiac that's loaded in my web map is only 2.8GB, so if that's all it takes to crash Experience Builder, then that's quite disappointing.

I am also looking for an alternative, I am having so many problems with Experience Builder. A simple function like Select is painfully slow, and the search bar only really works for a search across 1 or 2 layers. When layers are switched on and off they often don't respond, you have to zoom in or out to make the change. The measure tool doesn't finish drawing when you double click at the end, you have to hold your mouse still and hit enter after double clicking. I'm really finding it unworkable, but I can't find a suitable alternative except for Web AppBuilder, but that won't be supported after 2026.

I am looking for alternatives to experience builder, since it loads slowly, and lacks the basic functionality that Web App builder has. Note that web app builder is being retired in the fourth quarter of this year so that doesn't leave much time to recreate all of my web app builder apps.

I don't have the time to wait for experience builder to improve.

Does anyone have other tools they can suggest trying? ESRI tools or not, it doesn't matter. Just something that will be reliable.
