Map Pane Navigation

Question

Hi, I am new to ArcGIS Pro.  I was able to pan my map with the cursor looking like a hand.  For some reason the hand is gone and I cannot pan the map.  I can only zoom in and out.  I'm sure this is very basic, but I cannot figure out how to get the hand cursor back.

Please help!

Use the Explore button in the Map menu. That doubles as 2 Arc Map functions: Pan and Identify.

You should also be able to pan anyway, if you have a 3-button mouse, by holding down the middle mouse button. This allows you to pan even when in Selection mode.
