I have noticed that hub site gallery cards link to itemIDs instead of proper URLs. This makes it confusing for users when navigating within a hubsite and trying to share pages. For instance, from this site: https://handbook.dcoz.dc.gov/ clicking on the "Downtown Zones" gallery card will open this link: https://handbook.dcoz.dc.gov/pages/8aa208bf686246c38b2a9bb772efb33b instead of the page URL of: https://handbook.dcoz.dc.gov/pages/downtown-d-zones
I understand that itemIDs are more permanent than page URLs (which can be customized later), but perhaps the gallery card could be re-designed to look within the initiative and reference the page URL (slug) instead if there is a match between the gallery card itemID and the items referenced by the initiative?
Yes, I agree with this. Is there an option to link to the slug instead of the itemID?
Yes I hope this can be a configurable option to have the page slug. This is important for accessible navigation.
