Hosted feature service data view not honoring field order and sorted alphanumerically

Question

To my surprise, all the fields in my feature service are sorted alphanumerically and I can no longer view the data in the DATA TAB in the order they were generated through Survey123.

Is there a way this can be fixed? The table contains quite a number of fields at it will take some time to do this manually.

Same issue.
All I recall doing is adding a new field in Survey123 Connect and publish. Then I tried to rearrange the fields in the Visualization tab in AGOL and saved. From that point on, I can no longer view my table as originally created.
I'm also not certain how to rearrange the field as I used to do using the configure pop-up in previous versions, which also a bit cumbersome.

Can you create a new view of the parent layer, just to see if it does it again? This sounds really strange, and might be that something on the backend went wrong.
