Switch from GPS to BLE seamlessly

Question

Hello! I want to know if it is possible to use BLE location when indoors and then when exiting the building, seamlessly switch to GPS? So the GPS is only considered as an option when I am outside the building and its BLE anchors. Do you need ArcGIS indoors for this?

I had an idea to create a GeoFence around the building and somehow make it use BLE when inside the GeoFence (building) and then use GPS when outside the GeoFence

Would greatly appreciate any feedback if you have encountered a similar situation!

@hersingerpetter Have you looked at Pointr? My research shows they have solved the indoor/outdoor transition seemlessly

Right now, we are not using ArcGIS IPS/indoors and trying to build it ourselves.

Hello @hersingerpetter .. are you using ArcGIS IPS with ArcGIS Indoors or in your own custom app built with ArcGIS Runtime? The blue-dot switches to GPS when exiting a building. Can you please elaborate on your experience .. like, does it randomly switch to GPS when inside buildings?
