PDF and JPEG export differently

Hello,

So I have a raster file that I converted to polygons and when I export the map as a PDF it shows the data as way denser than it actually is. It seems fine when I export it as JPEG.

The original raster exports fine, I was just wondering why this happened?

I've uploaded the jpg and then had to clip the PDF as a png as the original PDF was too large.
