Hello,
I have an experience created in the developer edition (v. 1.5) of my enterprise portal. I've downloaded it and would like to upload it to my online account. What would be the way?
Thank you in advance,
Marcelo
Lol good luck with that. You can try using ArcGIS Assistant but understand it's not officially supported and you're trying to go from v1.5 to I think v.1.8 so it may not be possible anyway
There is a method in the Python API that will get you there: https://developers.arcgis.com/python/latest/api-reference/arcgis.apps.expbuilder.html#webexperience (upload())
Here is some code that will get you going:
from arcgis.apps.expbuilder import WebExperience from arcgis.gis import GIS print("STARTING") gis = GIS("", "", "") # Point to the config.json from your Dev Edition download folder # (or, in API v2.4.0+, the path to the project folder itself) local_exp = WebExperience(gis=gis, path=r"C:\Path\to\server\public\apps\0") #\config.json#") new_item = local_exp.upload( gis=gis, publish=True, title="My Uploaded Experience", # widget_mapping={"my-widget":"my-widget"}, auto_remap=True # auto-matches datasources by name/type in target org ) print("ALL DONE. BOOM!")
